To make the app useful across sessions, the following is saved only on your
device using your browser/app local storage (localStorage):
This data never leaves your device. We have no servers and cannot access it. It is not backed up to us and is not synchronized to any cloud service by the app.
Everything the app needs is bundled inside it. The chess engine (Stockfish) runs locally on your device, and the fonts and chess-piece graphics are packaged with the app. The app does not connect to the internet to function, so it works fully offline.
The app does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or any third-party software development kits (SDKs).
Chess GM Champion is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no data from children. It contains no ads, no purchases, and no communication features.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of it. To erase everything, clear the app's storage/data in your device settings, or simply uninstall the app. There is no account to close and nothing for us to delete on our side.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and publish the revised version at the same location. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
